Spayce is an app for memories, serving up reminiscence whenever you encounter a place you've previously been, and encouraging you to share your good times with your friends.
Rebrand
When I joined Spayce in 2015, I was brought on to lead their design efforts, and part of my work at the time was to update the look of the brand to be fresher and more expressive. Inspired by blending NASA satellite imagery with avant garde poster design aesthetics, I produced a future-forward update that brought a more adventurous, premium look and feel to the spayce experience.

Achievements
Your memories are achievements of their own, but you've got to start somewhere, right? To get people moving throughout the app, in addition to syncing their existing photo library (with permission, of course), I developed 25 achievements based in the theme of science and space exploration, but for the world around you. "One Small Step" is for when you capture your first venue, "Lander" is for visiting more than one country, etc.
